*Calls for urgent, effective efforts to nab perpetrators
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has condemned the Sunday gruesome attack of some worshippers at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Ondo which has left many dead and others injured.
Governor Bello in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Muhammed Onogwu, expressed his sadness over the incidence calling on security operatives to expedite actions that would nab the perpetrators.

The Governor sent his deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost loved ones in the incident, particularly the Catholic family and the entire Christian fold stating that only justice well served to those evil doers can succour the pain they felt.
He extended his commiseration to the government and people of Ondo while he called for calm amongst the people in a bid to allow security operatives to speed up delivering justice in adequate measure.
Governor Bello in his opinion noted that the time has come to make more effective Local security architecture in enhancing intelligence gathering and providing safety measures in rural areas.
In related news, President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice Yemi Osinbajo both described the heinous killings in Ondo as barbaric while calling on security operatives to swing into action by bringing all the perpetrators to book.
