Just like the Biblical Judas Iscariot, Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate and the embattled Anambra Governor, Charles Soludo were seen embracing each other at a thanksgiving ceremony days after the former lashed out at him over his campaign for the 2023 presidency.
The duo met at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Awka during the Thanksgiving Mass for Most Rev. Paulinus C. Ezeokafor in celebration of his 70th birthday today, Thursday, November 24.
According to eyewitnesses, just before the mass started, Governor Soludo stepped out from his pew and walked over to where the former governor was seated to greet him.

Recall that Soludo had dismissed the chances of the Labour Party flag-bearer ahead of the 2023 presidential election, adding that “Peter Obi is not a serious candidate” in the race.
Peter Obi, in reaction, described the Anambra governor as being more intelligent than him, while advising him to focus more on improving his achievements in the State — a development that got him a rousing applause by the audience.
