Annie Idibia recently opened up about the challenges she faced during a marital controversy with her musician husband, 2face Idibia.
She revealed that as a result of the turmoil, she was unjustly labeled a ‘disgrace to womanhood.’
During her appearance on the second season of the Young, Famous and African TV show, Annie Idibia shared her harrowing experiences.
She explained that the negative perception stemmed from the constant circulation of bad stories about her and her 2face.
Annie Idibia who was reacting to questions about how her marital scandals has affected her personally, said that the public emotionally attacked her, mocked her, and referred to her as a disgrace.
She said, “People want to believe the bad story, they want to believe the worst. They think it’s Annie they are bashing, they think it’s Innocent.
“They come and they tell me, ‘you are a disgrace to women.’ People…People are heartless.”
