Some officials of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, are reportedly meeting with former Deputy National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olabode George, to seek support for President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The APC leaders currently meeting with George are: Prince Tajudeen Olusi, the head of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), the party’s apex leadership in Lagos State; and Mrs Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs and former Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
Though the meeting’s agenda was not disclosed, Vanguard was reliably informed that APC officials are seeking George’s support for Tinubu as he takes office on May 29.

It was also reported that APC officials are putting pressure on George to stop future media attacks on Tinubu.
