Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, has challenged Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar to provide evidence to support her allegations against him in a court of law.
Represented by his lawyer, Dr. Abdul Mahmud, Suleman insists that Abubakar must substantiate her allegations during the upcoming trial for a defamation lawsuit amounting to N1 billion, which was filed against her last year.
In a statement released by Suleman’s lawyer on Friday, it was claimed that the actress “unjustly attacked, maligned, and defamed” Apostle Suleiman, in order to blackmail him for monetary gain.
The lawyer assured the clergyman that he will secure justice in court over her series of defamatory statements.
The court trial has been rescheduled to June 6th and 7th, 2023, after Halima Abubakar and her counsel failed to appear in court.
