Former Rivers State Governor and current Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, strongly maintains that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP) have no valid claims against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He accuses them of misleading the public by suggesting their petitions had merit, even though they knew otherwise.
Wike stated, “They (PDP and LP) don’t have any case, I can confidently say.”

In a recent interview with Channels Television monitored by Quest Times, the FCT Minister criticized the PDP and LP for allegedly deceiving the public. He argued that proving irregularities during the February 25, 2023 Presidential election would be challenging.
While the PDP claimed ballot box snatching in some polling units nationwide, they failed to provide concrete evidence. Wike emphasized that judgments should rely on party agents’ reports from polling units rather than individual witness accounts from collation centers.
Wike also celebrated President Tinubu’s victory declaration by the Tribunal and offered reasons why the opposition parties should reconsider challenging the Tribunal’s decision.
