Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, has congratulated actress Bimbo Ademoye who broke her five-year AMVCA winning streak.
Akindele took to her Instagram story and shared a delightful photo of Ademoye, along with a caption expressing her congratulations for Ademoye’s victory at the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
In her message, Akindele wrote, “Congrats dear. @bimboademoye.”
Akindele’s message follows Ademoye’s feat of breaking Akindele’s five-year record of winning the Best Actress in a Comedy/TV Series category at the AMVCA.
During the awards ceremony, Ademoye emerged as the winner in the category, surpassing other stars such as Mercy Johnson and Bisola Aiyeola, among others.
