The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has named Seyi Makinde as Chairman of its Governors’ Forum, following his Sokoto counterpart, Aminu Tambuwal’s resignation on Thursday.
Tambuwal announced his resignation at the ongoing PDP National Executive Council meeting in Abuja.
Quest Times had earlier reported that the NEC passed a vote of confidence on the PDP National Chairman Senator Iyorchia Ayu, putting to rest the clamour for his (Ayu’s) resignation by some aggrieved party members.
