On Tuesday, November 7, Brazilian football star, Neymar, had a close call when his girlfriend’s home in Cotia, Sao Paulo, was invaded and robbed by a group of criminals.
According to reports from R7 newspaper, the criminals had a sinister plan to kidnap Neymar’s daughter, Maive, and his girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi.
Fortunately, Bruna and Maive were not home at the time, but Bruna’s parents, who were present, were tied up by the criminals while they robbed the house.
Thanks to the quick-thinking neighbors who alerted the authorities upon noticing unusual activity in the house.
Law enforcement swiftly surrounded the property, capturing one suspect, who was a resident of the condominium, while the others fled with stolen luxury items such as handbags, watches, and jewelry..
The Municipal Civil Guard revealed that a resident of the condominium, where the Biancardi family resides, facilitated the criminals’ entry.
As of now, Neymar has not issued a statement regarding the incident on social media. His most recent Instagram post, a photo with his daughter Maive, coincided with the invasion of Bruna Biancardi’s home, and no information has been shared by the influencer either.
