1:23pm: In some polling units in Surulere, Lagos, voters are being forced to vote for APC or go home. Quest Times has received some of these reports from at least 6 voters across different polling units in Surulere.
12:45pm: Peter Obi of the LP and Kwankwaso of the NNPP have complained about their logos missing or party symbol displayed poorly on ballot papers.
12:44pm: Various reports of BVAS electronic machines malfunctioning nationwide.
11:45am: “Hoodlums just broke into Dipo Olubi street, Surulere and dumped stamped and signed ballot papers 🤦🏾♂️. I’m so pissed! How are they able to pass a gated community and leave?,” writes Chisom @_PLICE on Twitter.
11:21: No INEC officials yet in Greenfield estate, Okota and some parts of Ikeja. Across the country, our reporters say INEC officials are yet to show up in some areas.
11:19am: Governors Ganduje and El-Rufai of Kano and Kaduna States respectively have just voted.
11:04am: There are pockets of protests in certain parts of Bayelsa over shortage of ballot papers.

10:15am: Wife of the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Remi has cast her vote.
Remi, a federal lawmaker representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, voted at her Polling Unit in Lagos State, which is not far from the Bourdillon, Ikoyi–the Lagos State home of Tinubu.
10:13am: Bola Tinubu, APC presidential candidate, arrives his Ikeja polling unit. There’s a huge crowd around the man amid chants of ‘Jagaban’. There’s also a battery of reporters and photo-journalists making it difficult for the candidate to march to his polling booth.

10:02am: President Buhari votes in Daura, Katsina, insists that the rights of Nigerians to choose their next leader be respected.
9:57am: There’s an impressive voter turnout across the country. Polling units are packed full.
9:45am: Tempers are flaring at Kwankwaso’s polling unit in Kano after a vehicle drove into the polling unit carrying undisclosed items. Across Kano, voter turnout is typically impressive.
9:33am: Atiku has just cast his ballot in Adamawa, Yola.
9:33am: Arrival of ECOWAS election observers as accreditation and voting begins at Polling Unit (PU) 071, Government Secondary School (GSS), Tudun Wada, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.
9:30am: Peter Obi arrives Polling Unit, optimistic of victory. Obi spoke briefly to reporters at his Polling Unit, PU 019, Umudimakasi Square, Agulu, Anambra State.
The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has expressed optimism as the polls gets underway.
9:26am: Lagos voters worry over lateness of INEC staff
INEC officials are still absent as at 9:30 here at 006 Apeka, Ikorodu, Lagos.
Voters arrived the polling unit as early as 6am to cast their votes
There are about 3 polling unit in this side of Ikorodu, Unilag, Omonile and Agbala and yet no INEC staff has been seen.
9:20am: PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar is on his way to his polling unit in Yola, Adamawa State.
9:15am: Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, being escorted by security aides to his Polling Unit 019, Umudimakasi Square, Agulu, Anambra State.
9:13am: Electoral materials are arriving late in several polling units in Abuja.

8:40am: INEC staff absent at Wuse Zone 4 Abuja.
A visit at polling unit 073 Benghazi street Wuse zone 4 polling unit. No Inec staff are present as electorates in their large numbers wait endlessly.
8:40am: Electorates worry over late arrival of INEC officials in Enugu
As at 8:40am, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials are yet to arrive at a polling unit, Girls Grammer Schools Awkunanaw, ward nine.

8:30am: We’ve actually seen some young people of voting age, playing football on sandy pitches in Lagos and Abuja.
