Renowned actor Saint Obi, aged 57, has passed away following a prolonged illness.
According to a Sahara Reporters report, he had been battling an undisclosed ailment for several months without successful treatment, ultimately succumbing on Monday.
It also stated that a formal announcement is yet to be made due to a minor disagreement within the family.
Saint Obi’s body has been placed in the morgue at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH).
In the late 90s and early 2000s, Saint Obi was a popular figure among Nollywood fans, starring in several hit flicks.
However, he abruptly halted his appearances in movies. Prior to his passing, he had starred in more than 100 films.
