Dr. Don Pedro Obaseki, a prominent figure within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and a former member of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has raised eyebrows with a startling statement regarding the academic records of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
During a virtual conference hosted by Professor Gold Emmanuel, a London-based psychologist, Dr. Obaseki emphasized that Nigerians would be in for a shock if Chicago State University (CSU) were to reveal President Tinubu’s academic credentials.
He explained that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is pushing for the public disclosure of these records due to a belief that fresh evidence may compel the Supreme Court of Nigeria to reevaluate the ongoing petitions.
Dr. Obaseki pointed out that the contentious nature of this issue underscores the importance of transparency for the Nigerian public.
Despite President Tinubu’s concerns that the release of his CSU documents could harm his reputation irreparably, Atiku Abubakar is steadfast in his pursuit of full disclosure. Dr. Obaseki added, “Nigerians would be even more astonished to learn the details surrounding the certificate in question.”
