In a live-streamed video, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, shared an important message with the public.
During a Monday Global Crusade, he spoke about “THE MEDIATORIAL LOVE FOR OUR CONVERSION AND CONSECRATION.” In his speech, he emphasized that when we declare our decision to follow Jesus with no turning back, that’s what we call conversion. He explained that even when faced with opposition from friends, our determination to follow represents our consecration, which is closely linked to our conversion.
He continued, saying, “I have decided to follow Jesus, No Turning back, no turning back,” signifying salvation, and “The world behind me and the cross before me” represents consecration.

Pastor Kumuyi further explained that God sent His only begotten Son to the Cross to save everyone. This act of love led to a transformation in our lives, where the old, negative habits and behaviors are left behind. He emphasized that merely raising one’s hand is insufficient; true salvation should bring about a change in one’s life.
He assured his audience that tonight, a positive transformation will occur. This transformation means no more lying, no more getting drunk, and no more smoking marijuana. Christ’s sacrifice has broken the yoke of sin in our lives, and if we claim to love God, we must love our fellow human beings because God loved us first.
He shared a personal story from when he was newly born again, highlighting how his life changed, leading even those who initially disliked him to eventually follow his path to salvation. He stressed that when we are born again, there is no room for malice, anger, animosity, or reactions; we simply do the right thing.
Pastor Kumuyi encouraged everyone to consistently do what is right, as this can lead both friends and foes to salvation.
