Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah won an early battle of wits with Sadio Mane as the Senegal star fluffed his penalty just minutes into the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final.
The two Liverpool teammates almost came face to face in the area as Egypt captain Salah gave advice to goalkeeper Gabaski over which way to dive.

“Salah told me: Mane would shoot to the right side, he is coming now because he knows what I am saying.”
“Mane said to me: ‘I will shoot on the left,’ then Salah replied ‘Let’s see,” Gabaski told MBC Egypt.
