During the recent 2023 convention themed ‘Beyond Expectations’ hosted by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, revered as the Clergyman and General Overseer, took a bold stance against circulating allegations.
The claims in question accused him of engaging with demonic forces before ascending the pulpit to preach and prophesy at the Redemption City.
In a resolute response, Adeboye seized the opportunity to address these accusations directly, expressing his deep concern over the proliferation of such damaging narratives propagated by certain self-proclaimed prophets, clerics, and various groups. He emphasized that he had come across these assertions on the internet and felt compelled to confront them openly.

With a firm yet spiritual demeanor, he invited the congregation to stand with him in prayer, making a poignant request. Adeboye asked his followers to fervently pray that if indeed he was in any way associated with malevolent powers, he would pass away before the break of dawn. This bold call to action underscored his commitment to transparency, authenticity, and the truth.
Adeboye, who exhibited unwavering confidence, assured his congregation that he was unperturbed by these rumors.
However, he also expressed a genuine concern that some of his followers might have inadvertently been swayed by the sensationalism surrounding these allegations.
By encouraging his followers to join him in this unique prayer, he aimed to reiterate the principles of faith, integrity, and accountability that RCCG stands for.
He said, “I want you to say this prayer, if Pastor Adeboye has any links with any demonic powers, let him die before the sun rises.But if he is using your power, multiply the powers by seven folds.”
