VeryDarkMan, known for his controversial opinions, has responded sharply to billionaire businessman Obi Cubana’s recent appeal for blogs to stop sharing content that shows young people disrespecting elders.
In a series of statements, VeryDarkMan accused Obi Cubana of trying to silence critics because their voices reveal the wrongdoings of influential figures like himself. He argued that the businessman is more interested in spending money on lavish displays than addressing important issues that affect the youth.
VeryDarkMan criticized Obi Cubana for not using his influence to speak out on significant problems. He pointed out that in his region, people do not idolize wealth, and he questioned Obi Cubana’s priorities. He suggested that instead of trying to stop critics, Obi Cubana should focus on helping the youth.
He said: “The only reason why you people are angry is because this is the only person that can scatter a lot of evil things in you people’s faces. The youths cry since they never hear your voice for one day for one important thing na to carry money dey spray up and down dey use am dey buy people conscience.
“The youths are looking for employment in Nigeria you dey carry alcohol come Nigeria come drop for them. We don’t worship money my brother man as una wan dey chuk mouth for wetin no concern una.”
VeryDarkMan’s comments reflect a broader frustration among some Nigerians who feel that the country’s wealthy elite are out of touch with the struggles of ordinary people. He believes that those in powerful positions should do more to support and uplift the younger generation rather than focusing on maintaining their own image.
