A small plane crash occurred on Oba Akran road in Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in chaos in the area.
According to NEMA officials, two foreigners and two Nigerian men were involved in the accident, and all were rescued alive.
Initial reports had stated the crash involved a helicopter, but CCTV footage showed a small plane crashing and bursting into flames upon impact.

The small plane had been flying around Ikeja under the bridge before suddenly crashing and bursting into flames.

The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time, and authorities are investigating the incident. More details will be provided shortly.
Confirming the crash, Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile tweeted that all occupants have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
“A helicopter containing 4 persons including the pilot crash landed in front of the UBA branch in Ikeja. All four casualties have been retrieved from the aircraft alive. They have been transferred to hospital for further care. LASEMA, Lagos Fire Service on ground.”
