A private jet crashed in Russia, resulting in the deaths of all 10 people aboard. Among the passengers was Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner private military company.
Reports suggest that the jet belonged to Prigozhin’s company. The aircraft was en route from Moscow to St. Petersburg when it went down in the Tver region, north of the capital city.
The individuals on board included three pilots and seven passengers, with Prigozhin reportedly on the passenger list.

According to media outlet, Gray Zone, local residents heard two bangs before the crash and saw two vapour trails.

The incident is currently under investigation by authorities. Prior to the crash, flight tracking data indicated that a jet previously used by Prigozhin’s company took off from Moscow and then lost contact in a rural area without nearby airfields.
This unfortunate event follows Prigozhin’s involvement in a short-lived armed mutiny against Russia’s military leadership. Despite being set for exile to Belarus, reports reveal his plane frequently shuttled between Belarus and Russia.
Recently, Prigozhin released a recruitment video emphasizing Wagner’s activities in reconnaissance and search missions.
