As the “ember” months have begun, a lady has shared a video showing a creative birthday cake made with garri and groundnuts.
To make the garri cake more attractive, a red-colored stick-sweet-like item was placed in an upright position at the center of the cake.
Garri can be said to be cassava granules in Nigeria, which is arguably the most popular Nigerian delicacy at the moment. Never has it been heard that it has been used as cake, but it took another turn this time.

The post revealed that the TikTok user @tessydaniel was appealing to October birthday celebrants to make orders for their birthday cakes with the caption, “We give discounts”.
Many social media users found it hilarious and marveled at the creative garri-inspired cake, while others considered it a no-go area.
