Some Nigerians on social media had no qualms displaying their petty side, as they took to Twitter to heavily troll Emmanuel Dennis and Watford following a stoppage-time New Year’s Day loss to Spurs.
Recall that red-hot Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis recently pulled out from the Super Eagles 28-man AFCON list, with interim Nigeria head coach, Austin Eguavoen revealing that the Premier League side blocked him from participating in the tournament.
The action by Watford drew the ire of Nigerians, with some wasting no time in reveling in their late 1-0 loss to Spurs, dealing a big blow to their Premier League survival chances.

@Uzochi_O We told Watford they’ll be relegated. You don’t mess with Nigeria. When you get to the Championship, you’ll be relegated to Division 1…and Emmanuel Dennis will still be playing for them.
