The newly installed Baale Apena Onikosi, Lukman Lateef, has issued a crucial call to landowners in Ibeju-Lekki, urging them to regularize their land titles for the sake of peace and harmony within the community.
Speaking at the Onibeju of Ibeju-Lekki’s palace, Oba Waliu Olasukanmi (Oguntolu I), the Baale emphasized the importance of this action for both old and prospective landowners.

“As the first installed Baale under Oba Waliu Olasukanmi (Oguntolu I), I have been entrusted with the mandate of the respective family heads of both the Salami and Aminu clans, including Pa Afeez Seriki Apena and Pa Idowu Jisola Apena, as well as the Ibeju-Agbe Youths, to request that all existing and prospective landowners come forward with their land titles for proper verification and authentication from now until December,” the Baale stated.
Lukman Lateef further emphasized that the era of brigandage, harassment, and intimidation of law-abiding citizens is over, as he aims to ensure equity and justice for all during his reign.
In his quest to bring about positive change and attract socio-economic development to the community, the Baale Apena Onikosi seeks the cooperation of all residents.
