President Muhammadu Buhari has met with Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the party’s National Chairman, Adamu Abdullahi, ahead of its campaign flag off on Tuesday.
This was revealed by Bashir Ahmad, special assistant to the president on digital communications, in a tweet on Sunday night.
The meeting comes ahead of the formal flag-off of the party’s presidential campaign, scheduled to take place in Jos, the Plateau capital.
The meeting involving the trio took place shortly after Buhari returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom.
Recall that APC appointed Buhari as the chairman of its 2023 presidential campaign council.
