President Muhammadu Buhari has said his successor would be “the person that Nigerians elect,” amid the build-up to the 2023 general elections.

Buhari, while speaking after joining other Muslims to observe Eid-el-Fitr prayers at the parade ground, Mambilla Barrack in Abuja, restated the commitment of his administration to a free, fair and transparent electioneering process.
