It was a joyful moment as a final year student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, identified simply as Oluomachi Nwoko, gave birth to quintuplets (5 babies) at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia.
This is coming on the heels of the ongoing industrial strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
Nwoko, who is 24 years old, gave birth to three girls and two boys on Tuesday.

“The female babies came first and she is the first to give birth to quintuplets in the facility in a long time,” the nurse on duty told ABN TV.
