A member of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, Ayo Oyalowo, has defended the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, over his rumoured health status.
Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Mr Oyalowo, who belongs to the publicity directorate of the campaign, said Tinubu is in London to rest.
According to him, the APC flag-bearer is the main factor in this election, hence, the reason Nigerians are talking about him.

“People will say what they want to say, but we are aware that the man (Tinubu) needed a few days off because the pressure on him is a bit too much, and he needed to rest because the campaign is pretty long,” he said.
Quest Times earlier reported that Tinubu, in a bid to debunk his rumoured withdrawal from the presidential race, posted a video of himself on a stationary, spinning gym bike to prove he is still very fit and strong for the race.
The ex-Lagos governor, who shared a workout video on his Twitter handle on Sunday, denied reports that he has withdrawn from the race.
