In a somber turn of events, Access Bank Plc is mourning the passing of Abdul Imoyo, who served as the Head of Media Relations.
Imoyo’s demise, attributed to an undisclosed ailment, was sadly confirmed on Sunday, as gathered by Quest Times.
The news of his passing began circulating on social media platforms, with friends and well-wishers expressing their condolences.
While Access Bank is yet to release an official statement regarding the loss, sources close to the deceased, have affirmed the unfortunate news.
According to his LinkedIn page, Imoyo had been an integral part of Access Bank since August 2014, contributing significantly to the organization’s media relations.
Before joining Access Bank, he garnered experience in the Public Relations Unit of the United Bank for Africa (UBA); his career also included a stint as the Finance Editor of BusinessDay from May 2004 to July 2010.
As an alumnus of Lagos State University (LASU), he earned his B.Sc in Public Administration during the period of 1998 to 2002.
Subsequently, he pursued further education at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where he attained his Master of Business Administration (MBA).
