Meanwhile, Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP, Ifeanyi Okowa represented ex-Vice President Atiku, while the VP candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Bishop Isaac Idahosa represented candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso.
However, the anchor, Maupe Ogun, a media personality and Nigerian journalist and co-host of Sunrise Daily at Channels TV, noted that Tinubu or his representative might show up later during the course of the conference.
Quest Times understands that this is not the first time Tinubu will be absent at events where the presence of presidential candidates were required.
In August, the accountant also missed out on the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Conference in Lagos, while Shettima stood in for him.
Also, he was conspicuously absent as presidential candidates of other political parties met for the signing of a peace pact in September.
