Barely 24 hours after the embattled Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo, was sacked by its national executive council and the union dissolved, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed him as the Chairman of the state’s Parks Management Committee.
Recall that the Lagos State government had, a month ago, denied plans to appoint MC Oluomo Chairman of the Parks committee, after it suspended the activities of NURTW in all parks and garages across the state following MC Oluomo’s suspension by NURTW national body.

This disclosure was made in a statement by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, titled, “Lagos government sets up Parks Management Committee.”
