The All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken action in response to the crisis unfolding within its ranks by removing Senator Hope Uzodinma as the chairman of the Edo State Governorship Primary Election Committee.
This decision comes in the aftermath of a crisis currently rocking the party after the emergence of multiple candidates during the recently concluded primaries, which Uzodinma supervised.
In a revised list issued by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, H.E Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, the committee’s leadership now falls to Bassey Otu, the Governor of Cross Rivers state, with Alhaji Rabiu Suleiman appointed as Secretary.
Furthermore, the APC has appointed Barrister C. C. Udenwa as the chairman of the Appeals committee, signaling a shift in leadership to address the internal discord and ensure a fair and transparent process moving forward.
