Former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, has won the Labour Party presidential primary.
His victory came after another presidential aspirant on the platform of the party, Pat Utomi, a professor of political economy and co-convener of the National Consultative Front (NCFront), endorsed Obi, who only joined the party last week.
Utomi announced the decision on Monday during the national convention of the Labour Party (LP).
The national convention is taking place in Asaba, Delta state.
