The chairman of the Caretaker and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, has handed over the instruments of office to newly elected executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the party’s secretariat today March 30.
The event which took place at the Muhammadu Buhari House, Abuja was attended by the newly-elected APC Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, secretary, Iyiola Omisore, and other party leaders.

In a tweet on APC’s official handle (@OfficialAPCNg), the party says “The National Chairman of the APC, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu receives instruments of office from the immediate-past Chairman of the Party’s National Caretaker Committee and Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Mai Mala Buni today, at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.”

The Buni-led CECPC’s term ended following the APC National Convention on Saturday, March 26.
