Award-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy has for the fourth time won the Best International Act at the BET Awards.
On Sunday night, the 2023 edition of the Black Entertainment Awards was held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
Burna Boy, who wasn’t present at the show, won the Best International Act and his mother cum manager, Bose Ogulu received the award on his behalf.
With his win, Burna Boy is now the most awarded person in the Best Awards “Best International Act” category. He has won the award four times.
The Grammy singer beat the likes of fellow Nigeran Ayra Starr, Stormzy, Aya Nakamura, and others to clinch the award.

In reaction to the award, Burna took to Twitter to thank the BET and his fans for their support.
He tweeted, “4th Time Winning BET Best International Act!!! Thank you @BET @BETAwards and Everyone that voted!! #SOTOTW #BIG7 #BETAwards#BetAwards2023”.
Also superstar singer Tems continued her rise to stardom with another recognition of her talents, as she won the BET for best collaboration alongside rappers Future and Drake with Wait For U
