Media personality, Daddy Freeze has taken to social media to demand an apology from singer Brymo over his anti-Igbo speech.
Recall that while Brymo was endorsing the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu via his official Twitter account, he said that it is not yet time for an Igbo presidency.
While reacting to the comments made by Brymo in a post on his Instagram page, Daddy Freeze demanded that the singer apologise to Igbos for what he called hate speech.
Daddy Freeze who noted that Brymo should not throw people’s respect down the drain, added that though, the singer has a right to his opinion, however, his statement wasn’t an opinion but hate speech.
He said, “Dear Brymo, I respect you. Don’t throw that respect down the drain. I know you have the right to an opinion. However, this isn’t an opinion, this is ‘H8’ speech and will cost you your fans and followers. I would recommend an apology to the igbos.”

Reacting to Daddy Freeze’s post, popular rapper Ikechukwu was less understanding, replying with “Which kind respect still dey. Abeg.”
