This is coming a day after major cities in Nigeria, including the commercial nerve centre Lagos and the nation’s political capital Abuja, were thrown into darkness as the national grid collapsed for the umpteenth time in 2022.

The situation forced the lawmakers to exit the chamber in darkness, using their phone torchlights.
