The European Union, EU, has expressed grief over the lynching of a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, Deborah Samuel.
Quest Times reported that Deborah’s life was violently cut short by a mob last Thursday.
Reacting on Wednesday, the 27-member union demanded that justice is done while calling on the Nigerian government to ensure that the perpetrators are prosecuted.

“Still saddened by last week’s gruesome murder of Deborah Samuel in Sokoto.
“Everything must be done to ensure the murderers are not only swiftly brought to justice, but that justice is done.
“Reoccurrence must also be prevented,” a statement on Twitter read.
