The recent incident that sparked outrage on social media involved the discovery of four bodies out of the 10 individuals kidnapped in the Kubwa/Dutse area of the FCT. The victims, including a secondary school student and the daughter of the Chief Legal Officer of the National University Commission (NUC), Folorunsho Ariyo, were found killed and dumped near Ushafa in Bwari Area Council.

He emphasized the importance of education as an antidote to the issues troubling the nation and pledged resources, policies, and plans for the comprehensive education of Nigerian youths.
IGP Orders Decimation of Kidnappers: Urgent Action Required
In the wake of the recent abductions in the FCT and across the country, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun has issued a directive for decisive action against kidnappers. During a meeting with the Force management team and tactical squads at Force headquarters in Abuja, the IGP expressed deep concern and emphasized the need for a coordinated and intelligence-driven approach to tackle the evolving security landscape.
The IGP ordered the deputy inspector-general of police, Operations, to personally coordinate the upscaled security strategies aimed at decimating kidnappers and restoring normalcy in the FCT.
