Music executive and politician Bankole Wellington aka Banky W has denied that his Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) outfit signed former BBNaija winner, Hazel Onu aka Whitemoney, on a music deal.
The Quest Times reports that the entertainment media space has been dominated by reports of Whitemoney inking a deal with EME to push his music career.
In an Instagram post, the reality star had earlier on September 20, 2022, stated that he signed a deal with EME. The post reads:

According to Mr Capable, EME didn’t sign Whitemoney on a music contract, as the outfit had transitioned from a record label to a media and marketing agency in 2017.
According to Banky W, EME helped Whitemoney land an influencer deal with one of its corporate clients.
He said: “I didn’t sign Whitemoney. What we did was we helped him with an influencer deal with one of the corporate clients that we service.
“So he’s an ambassador for the company. We helped sign him to market their brand. So, we didn’t sign him. He’s not our artiste.”
