During their violent assault on Israel over the weekend, Hamas gunmen targeted an outdoor music festival in the southern region, resulting in the tragic deaths of approximately 260 Israelis, according to an announcement made by ZAKA, an emergency volunteer group responsible for handling human remains following terror attacks and disasters.
This devastating attack marked the deadliest single day in the history of the nation, leaving families and friends anxiously searching for their missing loved ones.
As the nation grappled with the aftermath of this unprecedented assault by Hamas, concerns grew for the well-being of those who had disappeared.

While some of the missing individuals are sadly among the deceased, many remain unaccounted for, with suspicions that some may have been abducted and taken into Gaza, where various terror groups are currently holding more than 100 people.
The Nova festival, an all-night rave attended by approximately 3,000 mostly young Israelis, turned into a scene of chaos and terror. Witnesses recount a nightmarish massacre in which terrorists, seemingly aware of the event in advance and deploying significant forces, encircled the festivalgoers. They opened fire on the terrified crowd, claiming dozens of lives, and later combed the area, hunting down those in hiding for capture or execution.
ZAKA, operating near Kibbutz Re’im, reported the recovery of around 260 bodies at the festival site, leaving the nation in mourning and searching for answers in the wake of this horrific tragedy.
