The United States Attorney’s Office for Central District of California, Los Angeles, has confirmed that Nigerian internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas, popularly called Hushpuppi, will be sentenced on September 21, 2022.
This was disclosed to Channels Television via email by the court’s Director of Media Relations, Thom Mrozek, on Friday.

Sentencing of the popular internet fraudster was earlier scheduled to take place on February 14, but was moved to July 11, before the new date, Wednesday, September 21, was announced by the court.
Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, in June 2020, and flown to the US for trial over various criminal activities, including the $1.1 million scheme fraud.
