Frontline Presidential aspirant and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s declaration to run for the Presidency in 2023.
Speaking after a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum in Abuja on Monday, April 11, 2022, Tinubu was asked by journalists about the declaration of his “son”, Osinbajo, to which he replied, “I don’t have any son grown up enough to make such declaration”.

Recall that after several denials and false declarations, VP Yemi Osinbajo finally made his presidential ambition known to Nigerians, in a video message released on Monday morning.

Speaking further on his meeting with the APC governors under the aegis of the PGF, Tinubu disclosed that he was carrying on with his consultations.
“My mission here is to seek collaboration, support and encouragement of my party, the APC, for my ambition to become the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as replacement for President Muhammadu Buhari after his tenure”
Those present at the meeting held at the Kebbi State Governor’s Lodge include Governors Gboyega Oyetola (Osun), Nasir el-Rufai (Kaduna), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (Kano), Mohammed Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Abubakar Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi) and Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos). Others were Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Simon Bako Lalong (Plateau), Hope Uzodinma (Imo), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa) and Dapo Abiodun (Ogun).
