Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has stated that he has “a good sensation” regarding their Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City next week.
After Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with the Premier League champions, Ancelotti was speaking to BT Sport.
For Los Blancos, Vinicius Jr. scored first, but Kevin De Bruyne’s incredible long-range effort meant that the prizes were shared in Madrid.
“You have to stay calm, you have to keep the position defensively, do not go crazy to press,” Ancelotti remarked after the game.
Keep playing the low block there, and when the chance presented itself, we scored the first goal. Even though [Vinicius Junior] is having a great game, the squad played well.
I am satisfied, with a good sensation about the game on Wednesday.”
Real Madrid host Getafe this Saturday before they fly out to the UK to face City.
