Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello on Saturday, vowed to create wealth-creating jobs for Nigerians if elected in 2023.
The governor made the promise during his official declaration for the 2023 presidential election on Saturday, April 2, at Eagle Square, Abuja.
“I promise that under Yahaya Bello’s presidency, Nigerians of every extraction will know what it means to be free from the principle of exclusion that currently demeans our very existence.

“A Yahaya Bello presidency will have a target of creating at least 20 million Naira millionaires by the year 2030. We aim that each of them will empower at least 5 other citizens.
“In this regard, we shall learn the apprenticeship model from our brothers in the South-East,” he said.
The occasion was witnessed by some eminent Nigerians like Senator Jonathan Zwingina and Femi Fani-Kayode, among others.
Speaking, Zwingina described the Presidential aspirant as a detribalized Nigerian who governs Kogi with appointees from other states.
Stressing that Nigeria needs Bello as President, Zwingina noted that the “governor uprooted insecurity from Kogi. The state would have been a breeding ground for kidnapping and banditry, but for his leadership skills.”
Yahaya Bello will be running under the umbrella of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) come 2023.
