The management of Deeper Life High School has taken to social media to share the remarkable achievements of its students in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
A total of 174 students from the school scored 300 marks and above, surpassing the expectations set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
In a recent Facebook post, the school expressed its joy and pride in the outstanding performance of its students. Despite the national statistics indicating that only about 0.5% of candidates scored 300 and above in the UTME, Deeper Life High School stood out with 174 students achieving this feat.
These students exhibited exceptional dedication and academic prowess, scoring between 300 and 362 marks out of a possible 400.
The school’s Facebook page featured a video showcasing the successful students, captioned with words of admiration and congratulations. Among them, Ayeyemi Godsgift Ibukunoluwa emerged as the highest scorer with an impressive total of 362 marks.
Recall that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Monday, April 29, released the 2024 results with over 1.4 million candidates failing to score 200 marks out of 400.
It also announced the decision not to disclose the names of the highest-scoring candidates in the just-concluded UTME.
