A yet-to-be-identified student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State has been burnt to death by her colleagues for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
It was gathered that the incident happened in the wee hours of Thursday.
She was allegedly burnt to death by Muslim students who dragged her out of her hostel, according to SaharaReporters report.

Similarly in March 2021, some angry youths backed by leaders in Sade community in the Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State burnt a man identified as Talle Mai Ruwa to death, for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad.
Mai Ruwa was dragged away from his house in the presence of his mother and burnt to death in the middle of the community, Quest Times gathered.

Eyewitnesses shared gory pictures of the incident with the newsmen which showed the middle-aged man burnt along with tyres.
