The Super Eagles of Nigeria went on a rampage on Monday and beat toothless Sao Tome and Principe by ten goals to nil in the African Cup of Nations qualifier match.
Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, Terem Moffi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Ademola Lookman and Emmanuel Dennis all scored for the Nigerian team in the match.
Napoli talisman, Osimhen alone recorded four goals on the scoreboard.

The result took Nigeria to the top of the four-team Group A of the qualifiers, with six points from two games after scoring 12 goals and conceding one.
Recall that the Super Eagles did not qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
While the Nigerian team recorded seventeen shots on target, the home team recorded no single attempt towards the goal post of the Super Eagles.
Their return match has been scheduled for March 28, 2023.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria team currently leads Group A with six points having won two matches in the qualifying games.
The only time the Super Eagles have gone into double figures was a 10-1 victory over now Benin Republic more than six decades ago.
