The National Television Authority (NTA) has successfully secured an exclusive deal to broadcast all the 52 matches of the Africa Cup of Nations 2024.
The Africa Cup of Nations, also known as TotalEnergies AFCON or simply AFCON or CAN, is the premier international men’s football competition in Africa. The 2024 edition is set to kick off on Saturday, January 13, 2024, and will conclude on Sunday, February 11, 2024, in Cote d’Ivoire.
In a historic collaboration, NTA and Afro Sports have signed a groundbreaking memorandum of understanding, ensuring the broadcast of all 52 matches in Cote d’Ivoire. This significant partnership comes after Multichoice, the owners of DSTV and Super Sports, were unable to secure the broadcasting rights.
