Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold is under fire for her involvement in apprehending two thieves who stole a girl’s phone during a movie shoot.
As spotted by Quest Times, the actress took to Instagram to share the incident, stating that her Director of Photography and Associate Producer pursued the culprits.
She stated that she joined the chase, leading to the apprehension of the thieves who were then subjected to physical retaliation. The stolen phone was successfully recovered.
“So these thieves stole a girl’s phone, she raised an alarm, and my DOP and associate producer ran after them. I drove after them, and long story short, the thieves were caught and beaten. The girl’s phone was recovered from the thieves,” she wrote.

This incident follows Lizzy Gold’s previous encounter where her house help absconded with £1000 from her drawer.
She has also highlighted a separate incident involving Peggy Ovire, who confronted a production crew member for allegedly stealing gas cylinders on a movie set.
