American pop icon Madonna has been released from the hospital after being treated for a serious bacterial infection that required her to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a New York hospital.
The 64-year-old musician was found unresponsive on June 24 and was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she received intubation and ICU care.
Guy Oseary, Madonna’s longtime manager, provided an update on Instagram, stating that she had developed a severe bacterial infection, resulting in her stay in the ICU for several days. However, he expressed optimism about her recovery.
