The governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda has nominateed a 38-year-old Fadila Muhammad Dikko from Birchi, Kurfi Local Government Area of Katsina State as commissioner.
Fadika holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Masters’s in Public Law from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. programme in law from Bayero University, Kano.
The nominee started her legal career in 2010 as the Hon. Chief Judge of High Court 7 in Katsina State’s legal assistant.
She also held the position of Assistant Chief Registrar and was responsible for the mediation door at the Katsina Multi-door Courthouse. She progressed to the ranks of Senior Magistrate grade 2 and Magistrate grade 1 before being appointed Chief Magistrate of Katsina State, a position she presently holds.
She obtained numerous certificates and published illustrious articles such as certificate in Special Investigation and Prosecution, National Judicial Institute Certificate on Refresher Course for Magistrates, and Workshop by Women Environmental Program on extreme violence among others. Barrister Fadila is happily married with children.
