London-based blogger, Ms Maureen Badejo is in the news again after losing an appeal against mounting Court rulings against her in respect to several defamatory statements she had made against Pastor Daniel Olukoya and his wife, Dr. (Mrs) Folashade Olukoya.
In a court document obtained by Quest Times on Wednesday, the Honourable Mr Justice Lavender of the Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London, described Badejo’s application as “lacking merit”.
Dr. Olukoya is the founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (worldwide).

Last year, the High Court of Justice in London, delivered judgment in the case involving the MFM GO and a London-based blogger, wherein it ordered the latter to pay a six-figure sum in damages to both Olukoya and his wife immediately following her defamatory publications.
In the latest ruling, the High Court Appeal Centre, Royal Courts of Justice, London, on 13th September 2022, ordered that; “Permission to appeal is refused. The application is totally without merit. Pursuant to CPR 52.4(3), the defendant may not request this decision to be reconsidered at an oral hearing.”
